Biography:
I act as Associate Dean for Research at Australian Lutheran College (ALC), the education provider for the Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand, and as Dean of Research Strategy at the University of Divinity.
I am an historian, internationally known for my research on John Chrysostom, early Christian preaching, and on past and present religious conflict and violence. In addition, I am the Editor of Lutheran Theological Journal, Associate Editor of Journal of Early Christian Studies and sit on the editorial board of a number of other international book series and journals.
